Visas can't be changed or extended. If you would like a double-entry visa, you will nonetheless have to stop by an embassy. It's possible to submit an application for a visa in 1 embassy, and pick this up in another one, very similar to the Turkmen visa. There are plenty of requirements though. It is possible to also enter on a subsequent date.
