A Bit about Me

Although I currently call Monmouth County my home, I grew up living in North Jersey to parents that watched their daughter from a very young age, pick up bugs and take home stray animals.

I attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Secondary Education Teaching Certificate. During my college years, when I wasn't working at a local animal shelter, I was assisting in research of the Reticular Evolution (look it up!) of Sphagnum moss.

I have a particular passion for creating tools and lessons to make some of the most challenging concepts interesting and understandable for all students. I am fascinated by the interdependent relationships between molecules & cells inside of our body, all how all life is interdependent on our beautiful, Planet Earth.
