Construction milestone for 909 Kapiolani

POSEC Hawaii, developer of 909 Kapiolani, says construction of the 36-story condo high-rise has reached the halfway point.
The company also said Tuesday it has opened a new sales office not far from the development, at Imperial Plaza, 725 Kapiolani Boulevard, Suite C-124. Until now sales were handled at the Gentry Pacific Design Center, said I.J. Yi, president of POSEC Hawaii.
The upscale high-rise will occupy the makai/Diamond Head corner of Kapiolani Boulevard and Ward Avenue across from the Neal Blaisdell Arena. Construction is by Hawaiian Dredging Construction Co.
POSEC Hawaii Inc. is a subsidiary of Seoul-based POSCO Engineering & Construction.
