WASHINGTON – Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., is skeptical about a rescue package for the U.S. auto industry. Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., wants strings tied to any government aid and that using money from the financial sector bailout is the quickest way to prop up the Big Three.
