Project Manager
Location: High Wycombe, England
Salary: GBP45000 - GBP45000 per annum + plus car allowance, 20% bonus & benefits A market leading business are recruiting a Project Manager to focus on M&A projects for a highly acquisitive plc based in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing business and oversee M&A projects within the company from due diligence through to completion and smoothly handing over to a post-completion integration team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage M&A projects from due diligence to completion and handing over to a post-completion integration teams
- Develop and manage project plans (high level, milestone, detailed & integrated) and track against plan
- Define, allocate and manage benefits as identified in the business case
- Help further embed project methodology and project governance with the wider business
- Mobilise, motivate, manage and review the project team members across any division and shared service function.
- Define, gain approval of, and manage projects budget
- Identify, manage, report and mitigate project risks and issues
- Engage with the senior management, central teams and the project board to obtain the necessary approvals for changes to the business case
- Formally report on project progress, risks, dependencies and escalate issues as appropriate
- Provide guidance and leadership to project managers working on smaller in-fill acquisitions
- Facilitate the reporting of actual financial performance against business case and to ensure the synergy/benefit reporting is embedded into the business.
Requirements:
- Experience of leading operational projects
- Prince 2 Qualification (not essential)
- Knowledge of project methodologies and project governance frameworks
- Confident and engaging presentation skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate stake holders at all levels
- Highly adaptable and resilient with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to travel without restriction and work some unsociable hours, with nights away from home
