Senior QC Micro Analyst

Location:  Falkirk, Scotland


Our client is an established organisation specialising in supplying products and services to clients world wide. They are looking for an experienced Senior QC Micro Analyst to join their team based near Falkirk. Reporting to the Site Microbiologist, responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise the microbiology lab activities and a team of 3-4 analysts
  • Technical and subject matter expert in quality control microbiological techniques and processes
  • Support validation of new microbiological and methods in qc microbiology
  • Technical review, assessment, approval and trending of environmental monitoring data
  • Support microbiology investigations and deviations

Candidates:

  • Must be degree qualified in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Experience working within a QC microbiology lab
  • Experience of supervising and leading a team of analysts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
