- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2014Parts of this book are what opened my eyes to what has been occurring on this planet for the past several hundreds of years and why we have had wars and will continue to have them. It isn't a pleasant walk through history but it I'm afraid is a truthful one. And the truth hopefully will serve to free some souls. I read chapters of this book that were quoted in other's publications almost 10 years ago. That is what opened my eyes. Now I have bought the entire book recently and look forward to reading it all which I am just beginning.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2013This historical review of the last few hundred years of Western Banking, and its influence on world order is right on. I give only four stars as it brings up religious connections to this history, and not being religious this part I view as in the way. If this book were written as solely a history book without Mr Chomsky's religious views it would be brilliant.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2012I haven't finished this book yet. What I have read is an eye opening account of what is going on and has been going on in our country for a long time. Des Griffin has done a great job of putting all of the facts in an easy to understand text. Many people will not believe the information in this book much to our peril. This book points out how our freedoms are slowly but surely being eroded away!!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2013A very good and interesting book. Everyone needs to read this book that exposes the tyrants that control what gos on in this world with their greed and lust for power. We are nothing to them and they could care less what happens to the human race as long as they live in luxury and comfort at our expense.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2015Everyone should be reading this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 31, 2021There is some useful information, but it is negated by the authors hatred for the jews. Also it seems this book is just a cheap rehash of the completly bogus works «The controversy of Zion» which is not a scholarly source to say the least!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2009This book is well written. The author not only writes well BUT utilizes, refers to and lists the many sources he used to gather the information. I recommend this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Two sides to a story
I am very thankful to America for their involvement in the two World Wars but this is the other side of the coin.
