MEMBERS of the Salvation Army are pictured here handing over a donation of £550 to the Scottish Spina Bifida Association – but the total has now gone up even further to £630.
The cheque was presented at a Praise and Thanksgiving evening held last Wednesday (June 14) at the Salvation Army Hall in Clouden Road, Kildrum, and the children provided entertainment including singing, dancing, drama, poetry and puppetry.
Pictured are junior soldiers with Deborah Roe of the SSBA and young people's leader Marion Johnston.
Marion said:"The Salvation Army Sunday Club have been fundraising to help the SSBA for the past six months. The children held an X-Factor talent evening, a coffee morning and a children's clothing sale to help raise the money was well as bringing along their spare change on a Sunday to the club."
