The Biden administration faced fierce GOP opposition last year after its decision to host the recently deceased Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi — a Holocaust denier dubbed the “Butcher of Tehran” for his role in the mass executions of tens of thousands of political prisoners — in New York to attend the 2023 United Nations session. On Sunday, search teams reportedly located the site where a helicopter carrying the Iranian president crashed, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the state’s news agency. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other officials were also reportedly on board the helicopter that went...

The prosecution’s 'star witness' Michael Cohen is back on the stand for a third day, as the court waits with bated breath to find out whether former President Donald Trump could testify himself. He finally admitted under oath that he stole $60,000 from the Trump Organization by ‘grossing up’ payments for tax. Donald Trump was seen shaking his head as his former ‘fixer’ made the revelation, confirming he’s a common thief. Cohen also dramatically revealed that he dealt with an apparent photo ‘extortion’ blackmail attempt involving the ex-president’s daughter, Tiffany. Cohen admits he was handling Tiffany Trump ‘blackmail’ Blanche continues...

The latest Harvard-Harris poll shows former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden by six points nationally in a hypothetical head-to-head race. The poll, published Monday, finds Trump with a 49 percent to 43 percent edge over Biden, with less than six months to go until the November 5 election. Eight percent of respondents were undecided. When undecided voters were pushed to select the candidate they leaned toward and included with the rest of the sample, Trump led 53 percent to 47 percent. His six-point advantage is a two-percent increase compared to April, when he led Biden 52 percent to...

Many Ukrainians see Volodymyr Zelensky as a dictator who has betrayed his own country for a handful of silver. From tomorrow, May 20th, Zelensky’s presidential term is formally at an end—but no new elections will be held as long as Ukraine is under martial law because he would be overwhelmingly voted out. He preaches that Ukraine is fighting for freedom and then denies them the right to vote on his policies – so much for freedom and democracy. Zelensky has no incentive for peace at this point in time. Zelensjy won the election, which some say was rigged, promising PEACE...

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court said Monday he is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in connection with their actions during the seven-month war. Karim Khan said that he believes Netanyahu, his defense minister Yoav Gallant and three Hamas leaders—Yehya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Ismail Haniyeh—are responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip and Israel.

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean (D) dashed speculation about another gubernatorial run Monday, deciding against a bid to challenge Republican Gov. Phil Scott. “In theory, this is a winnable race. But I’ve been in state and national politics for a very long time, and there’s only one way to close a 10-point gap between two well-known candidates, and that’s to run a scorched-earth, negative attack campaign, like ones being run all over the country,” Dean said at a press conference, shared by WCAX. Dean knocked Texas and Florida, where, he argued, “creating enemies out of women, gay people and even...

With seven people killed and close to a million losing power, the recent storms hit Texas hard. Restoring electricity may take days and may not be completed by Wednesday. The isolation of the Texas power grid has become a symbol of the state’s independent streak and resistance to federal oversight in recent years. The massive outages during Winter Storm Uri in 2021 were a wake-up call to the vulnerabilities of Texas’ system. But Texas hit the snooze button, resulting in repeated crises in Summer 2022 and Winter 2023. Now it seems Texas is sleepwalking into another avoidable crisis ... ERCOT...

The White House refused to confirm or deny Monday whether President Joe Biden intends to use performance-enhancing drugs in preparation for the presidential debates. Former President Donald Trump believes Biden should receive a drug test before the debates. “I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union,” Trump told Republicans during a speech in Minnesota on Friday. “He was high as a kite. I said, ‘Is that Joe up there, that beautiful room? And by the end of the evening, he’s like” — Trump made a guttural sound — “He was exhausted, right? No, we’re going to...

Hundreds of nursing homes in Florida have been forced to shut their doors over the past five years because of the soaring cost of commercial property insurance in the state. During that same five-year period, commercial property insurance premiums rose 125% in Florida. Last year alone, annual premiums rose by around 27% in the state, according to Bloomberg News.

President Joe Biden has a new problem cropping up in polling data: more Americans now dismiss even the possibility of voting for him. Among likely voters living in six key swing states, 51% say there’s “not really any chance” they’d vote for Biden, compared to just 46% saying the same thing about former President Donald Trump, according to a May poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College. The trend of more voters vowing never to vote for Biden than Trump extends beyond just one poll, with three polls stretching between November 2023 and April all finding more...

Health Minister Ong Ye Kung advised the public to wear masks again on Saturday. “We are at the beginning part of the wave where it is steadily rising,” Kung stated. “So, I would say the wave should peak in the next two to four weeks, which means between mid- and end of June,” he told The Straits Times. US President Joe Biden has told his story about his conversation with Golda Meir five weeks ahead of the 1973 Yom Kippur War countless times. Meir told the young senator from Delaware not to cast doubt on Israel’s future, even in times of great peril for the Jewish state. “Don’t worry, senator,” she said. “We Jews have a secret weapon in our fight: We have no place else to go.” But a different conversation with an Israeli prime minister has become more relevant since Biden’s shockingly disturbing announcement to CNN last week that he would halt shipments of American weapons...

President Biden declared Sunday that things got “kind of bad” when he was vice president during the COVID-19 pandemic — even though the virus hit more than three years after he left office. The 81-year-old Biden, who finished his eight years as Barack Obama’s veep in January 2017, suggested he was still in post at the time of the outbreak during a campaign event with the NAACP. “When I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic and what happened was, Barack said to me, ‘Go to Detroit! Help fix it,'” Biden said. “Well, the poor mayor,...

The anti-Israel uprisings at colleges across the country have featured violence (from both sides), vandalism, unlawful occupations known as “encampments,” and many other acts that go well beyond free speech. And now, at the University of Michigan, this radical protest movement just crossed the line into dangerous new territory. This week, agitators reportedly showed up at the homes of University of Michigan Board of Regents members in the middle of the night, invading their private property. They chanted on their lawns and brought with them fake corpses, faux bloodied sheets, and lists of demands, including, bizarrely, completely unrelated desires such...
