Ten people were injured in a multi-car crash that saw a Range Rover flip on to its side after colliding with a black cab.
Four people were in the 4x4 when it overturned at the entrance to the Euston Road underpass, while the taxi was reportedly carrying two passengers.
Police said four vehicles were involved in the collision and one was carrying a five-month-old baby, who fortunately was uninjured.
The London Ambulance Service treated 10 patients after the accident just before 4.30pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman said all 10 were taken to hospital including a woman who suffered a back injury and was taken "as a piority".
Two children were also taken to hospital.
Emergency services remained at the scene into the evening and drivers were advised to avoid the area, with road closures in place.
One nearby worker took to Twitter to express his concern for the victims.

The accident happened close to Warren Street and Euston Square stations.
