Not sure it is the best choice for a clean leak free sealant.
This is the recommend sealant for RV skylights. My understanding is if Dicor self-leveling sealant makes contact with the skylight the plastic material would be damaged. So I went along with using Surebond. What I do know, it does not appears to hold up on the roof and it does not self level. This was applied in April 2021. Already separating from edge of skylight.
Worked as applied. Was recommended by youtuber AZ expert. i too used this a base sealant under new skylight frame. Easy to apply just stringy. Application - skylight on 2008 Beaver Contessa Westport
The right sealant for the job! It works well but is very hard to work with as far as sealants go. It is very sticky and can't be tooled or smoothed with finger. When you apply it, do so with caution and finesse as the way it comes out the tube is the way it will stay!
Durable and easy to apply, but remember, this is a sealant, not an adhesive. Surface must extremely clean and air bubbles must be worked out by using a serpentine type motion during application.
The product is great...but they put one tube in a large box with cardboard packaging inside. Will be driving to Lowes in the future...use amazon, kill a tree...my bad
