YORK - Stage Neck Inn is undergoing a major renovation this winter, and is closed through March 31, 2016.

It is not unusual for the owners of Stage Neck Inn to close the Inn during the winter to provide workers with an extended block of time in which to do updates, renovations and physical plant repair. In 2008, The Spa at Stage Neck was added in space reclaimed within the facility’s ground floor. In 2012, the indoor pool was totally demolished and rebuilt. In 2013, the fitness center was the focus of upgrades. In 2014 and 2015, prototype Harborview "King Corner" rooms were created and tested with overnight guests. Also in 2015, the property upgraded their web presence with a fully fluid, mobile-responsive web site.

This winter, Sandpiper Bar & Grille, The Outdoor Terrace, and Harbor Porches will be totally re-imagined and renovated ... creating a more cohesive space which better suits weddings, conferences, and dining guests. In addition, nearly half of the Inn's 58 guest rooms will be renovated and/or updated. What are now the Harborview deluxe guest rooms will be reappointed with wall units and electric fireplaces, as well as entirely new decor, elevating them to a luxury guest room status. The upper and lower beach guest rooms will also be updated with furnishings that are more well-suited to guest needs. Additional annual maintenance work will be completed in the public areas of the Inn.

"We thank everyone for their patience during our closure. Key personnel will remain available by telephone at 207-363-3850. Our reservation department is always available, as is our online booking system," said owner Mark Foster. "Please join us on March 31, 2016! In the interim, my family, our Stage Neck Inn Team and I wish you all the best of holiday seasons and Happy 2016!"
