We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves might be back on the trail of Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle, who may well be on the move from Selhurst Park now the season is over.

The 24-year-old cost the Eagles £6million from Peterborough United in the summer of 2013 and has scored 18 goals in 54 games for the club.

But Gayle has often found himself either out-of-favour or pushed out of the striking berth under boss Alan Pardew, with Glenn Murray preferred as a lone forward.

He still has two years left on his contract, though, so will command a significant transfer fee and wage package. That may not deter Wolves or Bournemouth, who have also been linked.

WEST BROM

West Brom could also be looking at Palace as they search for signings, with head coach Tony Pulis keen to get his Hawthorns summer revamp rolling.

Midfield hard-man and captain Mile Jedinak is a Pulis sort of player and has been in out of Pardew's starting line-up, sparking suggestions they may listen to offers for him.

The 30-year-old Australia international would bring bite to the Baggies in the middle of the park, with Pulis keen to toughen them up for next season.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa are keen to offer Micah Richards a home back in the Premier League next season, after his season-long loan at Italian club Fiorentina is over.

The 26-year-old is unlikely to remain with parent club Manchester City or stay overseas, with Villa keen after signing another City outcast, Scott Sinclair, earlier this month.

Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the England international, though, so the claret and blues could face stiff competition for a transfer.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
