One could argue that the cardinal flower is the loveliest flower of southern swamps.
In the past, I’ve not had great luck photographing them. They are seldom in an easy to reach spot and usually watched over by fleets of mosquitos. So when I got a few shots at one, I couldn’t keep myself from sharing more than one.
