 Critical Power Engineer
Location: Oldham, England
Salary: GBP28000 - GBP38000 per annum
My client is offering an exciting opportunity for you to become a critical power engineer and join a well established and award winning design and build consultancy in the Oldham area. Having picked up numerous awards in their specialist areas and boasting a large order book, with a friendly workforce and working environment to boot, they hope to add 2 or more engineer to the team.
You will be working in the HV side of the business, working in UPS Sytems and Transfer, Switching procedures and generator transfers, and my client has asked that you have experience in some, if not all, of these areas as a minimum. My client obtains a lot of work from the Data Centre Sector and Commercial Sector, and they will help push you through to your next chosen career path, whether this be moving into Project Management, Design Engineering or Facilities Management, this client has the capability on all three fronts.
This contractor is looking for people who can take a project from initial concept design and feasibility and bring it through all stages to commissioning. They are keen for you to be active with clients and they also stress that the work can sometimes include stops away from home which you need to be aware of.
A background in Building Services, Critical Power, HV supply, or Electrical Engineering is essential and it is expected that you have obtained qualifications up to HNC level or a degree in these areas would also be an advantage. If you are looking to progress along the Chartered route, my client can aid with this also.
