Location:  Scarborough, England
Salary:  Dependant on experience


A fixed term 6 month contract has arisen for a HR Officer to join a global manufacturer in the Scarborough area. The role will be supporting and directly reporting into the HR Manager to plan, manage and monitor all overall operational HR activity and provide a proactive and value added HR function. As part of the HR team you will participate in the implementation of both the site and company's HR policy and practice in a practical and pragmatic way.

The role requires a HR professional who will be CIPD qualified with proven experience in a similar working environment covering employee relations, recruitment, performance management, management development and change management. Delivering HR projects alongside senior team and being KPI focused while working to best practice and in accordance with the companies strategic outline. The role will be hands on and you will be working directly with employees so the ability to provide advice and guidance face to face and offer an approachable service is essential for the role. Due to the nature of the business some travel will be required for the role, however no more than one day per week as an average.

Strong MS office knowledge and working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems will be a distinct advantage for the role.
