Welcome to ZooProfessor3's All Purpose Creation Thread! In this thread you will find:

2.Post used to communicate with my current D.N.A. Customer

3.Links to Zoo U Master Thread and other threads of interest to builders.
http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/559434.page#8979034
Explanations:
For a really large, detailed build (like my Walt Simney World project), I may make a thread for that build, but for the most part I will put all
Showcase type posts here.
I am a member of the
Designing Nature and Architecture (D.N.A.) Request Team. It is absolutely necessary to communticate with the customers that we work with. Since this is not as easy using Sim Pages as it used to be, and since there seems to be an excess of threads for various request teams in Creative Corner, I am combining my Showcase thread with my contact thread. That doesn't help much, but every little bit helps!
ZooProfessor's Beginning Builder's University (Zoo U) will continue to have one thread for each class. Since there will never be more than one class in a month, this should not clog up the forum. I will place the link to the Zoo U Master Thread here, just so that anyone looking at this thread who is interested in participating can find the current class easier.

It's fully decorated (no CC at all) and should be in move-in condition. I used stuff from all EPs, SPs, and the Store, so I don't know what kind of default replacements will show up if you don't own the items I used. Please take it on faith that any bad decorating ideas MUST be from an EA substitution!
Sorry about the big white lines on the photos!
Two bedrooms and a perfectly ordinary-looking house, BUT with a basement treasure room and inventer's workshop.

This Tudor-inspired cottage is the essence of the phrase "garden cottage" as the landscaping is extensive and somewhat wild and informal looking as in a classic cottage garden.
Pond is stocked with fish and pool is made to look like a part of the pond. (Pictures don't show it that well, sorry!)
The house has three bedrooms (two "master suites" and one bedroom with attached attic playroom for two children). There are three and half baths in the main house. The family moving into this house includes two married couples and they each have one child (a boy).
Garage has room for two cars and several bikes, contains a full laundry room, and upstairs workshop with full bath (so you can put yourself out if you catch on fire using the workbench) and storage area.
Basement has a bar, nectary, workout room, and half bath.
I think all the child outdoor stuff can look unsightly, so I hid it behind its own privacy fence and careful placement of trees. It is a big fun park for the family's children though, so they won't mind that I've hidden them away.
Living room shots (very formal living room)
Garden shed (good shots of the harvestable garden in earlier photos)
Most of the appliances have been upgraded. The sprinklers in the harvestable garden are upgraded to auto-water. There are chests with different goodies scattered around the property as well, so be on the lookout for those.

I built this farm for my friend Jessica and it took me some time because I gave it the deluxe treatment with a lot of special touches.
In these first pictures the exterior is mostly done except for some repainting of some exterior trim and moving of some porch pillars.
There is a barn (two horse stalls, tack room, root cellar which leads to a nectary, hay loft, efficiency apartment for farmhand, more), there is a corral and horse practice jumps set up, there is a dog run with pet houses (plus a structure I built that cats and dogs could both enjoy), a lush garden of harvestables, a fully stocked pond that encircles the property with (you guessed it) three arched bridges over it, there is a garage with a tool area and an upstairs meditation and exercise room, there is a HUGE farmhouse with a full art studio, a basement laundry room, a storm cellar with emergency accomodations for Sims to wait out the storm.

This is a shell, as per request, and has NO interior decoration at all. All walls are blank and the floors are a generic wood pattern. The house is unfurnished except for a few pieces of marker furniture (or furniture used to mark the type of room, a bed in each bedroom, a refrigerator in the kitchen, etc.).
The exterior of the house is completely detailed and finished with extensive landscaping and a complete children's play yard (with home-made tree house), a small vegetable garden with sprinklers upgraded to auto, a pool with poolside bar area and dressing room/bath room, a hot tub and grill area (right outside the walk-out basement recreation room).

This is a 60 X 60 lot and the premise is that this is the ancestral home of a female vampire who has lived here through generations of her children (and various husbands). The lot features a secret passage from a lavish underground garden to the private family crypt.

Here are pictures of the Countess's lavish bedroom, bathroom, and dressing room (all private and accessible only through the Countess's bedroom)
Here are photos of the modest bedroom off the Countess's rooms (for her current "husband"), he has a bathroom, too, but it's small and I didn't take a picture
Up a private staircase in the Countess's bedroom, you will find this study where the Countess probes the mysteries of magic and alchemy
The Countess misses painting in a brightly sunlight garden like she did in the days of her youth. Down a secret staircase, you will see that she has (through clever usage of modern "grow lights") recreated this experience (hard to believe this sunlit garden is in the basement)
And what if the Countess is trapped in her private basement garden when trouble happens in the house above her? Will she be trapped? Not as long as vampire strength (and a legendary axe) lets her clear the way into a tunnel that leads to the vampire crypt beneath the church.

Among the ammenities of Underhill Farm:
1. All appliances upgraded. This was especially challenging as the Fey are not good with cold iron, but as it happens Lillianna Stormbringer (my tester Sim for this build) is one of the rare "iron kissed" and able to work man-made metal.
2. Fully stocked nectary cellar. Try exotic vintages like Stormbringer's Summer Days or Blue Moon.
3. Fully stocked pond for fishing AND swimming. There are two fish spawners for lake fish, but there are other fish stocked in this lovely pond as well.
4. Small barn with one stall. Suitable to house the family horse or unicorn.
5. Fully decorated and detailed rooms with a great deal of Sim-painted art and cut gemstones and captive insects as part of the decor.
6. Two bedrooms, each with it's own private bath and unique ammenities such as private balconies.
7. In addition to the private family bathrooms, the cottage boasts a third bath for guests on the main floor.
8. The bookcases in the home contain most skill books, recipes, and musical compositions.
9. There is a lavish garden with harvestibles of the common and the magical types.
10. There are chests at various points on the lot. Here's a hint: OPEN THEM!

The house was to have four bedrooms (which it does), at least two and a half baths (it has four full baths and two half baths) and use a lot of shades of blue and cranberry and be very colorful. You can use your judgment as to how colorful it is, but I think it qualifies.

Notes on Game Performance with Fabulous Fairyland:
1. Each park is a large, highly detailed lot and it is highly recommended that anyone attempting to use one of these on an older or less powerful computer adjust the graphics settings to a low setting so that the lot will be playable. In the event that reduction of these settings is not enough, consider deleting some of the landscaping and/or décor items to increase playability.
2. In Fabulous Fairyland, there are fish spawners in the pond area and rock and gem spawners in the 7 Dwarf’s Mine. Deleting spawners can help if game performance is suffering. It is also a known issue that spawners can multiply each time you rotate a lot as you attempt to place it on your lot. Even if you keep SOME of the spawners, you might wish to make sure that you have not accidentally increased the numbers by this rotation.
3. Many EPs, SPs, and Store Content was used to create Fabulous Fairyland (no CC was used). While the game will automatically replace items that the downloader of this lot does not own, it is the opinion of the lot’s creator that World Adventures, Ambitions, Generations, Pets, and Late Night are absolutely essential for the lot to function as it was intended.
