A New Apostolic Reformation? Bellevue Slide Presentation

I spoke recently at the annual Worldview Apologetics Conference in Bellevue, Washington (April 17-18, 2015). Other speakers included Ravi Zacharias, Norman Geisler, and E. Calvin Beisner.

Two of my four presentations focused on the New Apostolic Reformation, the subject of two books I’ve co-authored with Holly Pivec.

One book is brief and introductory. It’s called God’s Super-Apostles. The other is an expanded treatment with more detailed discussion and extensive documentation. It’s called A New Apostolic Reformation? A Biblical Response to a Worldwide Movement.

Hello J.W. I don’t always use slides in my presentations. When I do, I try to limit the amount of text on each slide. I think this is a better complement to the presentation than just having lots of text to read off to the audience. But it does mean that they’re not always self-explanatory. One reason for posting these slides is that there were people in the audience who asked for them. They can now find them here. Eventually, I plan to make available audio files for various past talks.

I appreciated you sharing these slides, though I wish that I could have had them give more context. I don’t know much about the NAR movement so I read through the slides and just wished I Could hear the presentation as well!

Geez – so worried about a bunch of kooks – that everyone knows is old news (just Pentecostalism) when the whole church of Jesus Christ is over-run by the right-wing and taken over the bluff by well paid partisan wolves – esp. in the pulpit… Now that is a topic – but not nearly so easy….!!!!
