Passengers are being warned of further disruption to services for the rest of the day.

All trams on the Bury and Rochdale via Oldham services are set to terminate at Victoria station.

A replacement bus service will instead run between Piccadilly station and Victoria, calling at all stops through the city centre except Market Street.

Last week transport bosses revealed that passengers will be able to board trams from the new Exchange Square stop before Christmas .

The Metrolink Second City Crossing will allow Metrolink to run more frequent tram services through the city centre.

Anyone who lives in, works in or visits the city is also being reminded to be aware of trams in the area as testing continues in the coming weeks.
