Come enjoy classical music concerts presented by outstanding young artists as part of Palos Verdes Library District’s Classical Music Series. Introducing the musicians for this performance: “speKtra” is a woodwind quintet formed in August 2014. All members are current students or alumni of the Thornton School of Music at USC, as well as performers and music educators in Southern California and across the U.S. Why you shouldn’t miss this concert: Dedicated to exploring both the traditional and unusual extremes of the woodwind quintet repertoire, “speKtra” strives to provide a unique performance experience for audiences of all ages.
