Tamela Mann’s ‘Take Me To The King’ Certified Gold

Tamela Mann has much to celebrate these days!

Coming off the heels of announcing her new BET reality show, the singer’s single ‘Take Me To The King’ has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The Kirk Franklin written & produced cut, which served as the lead release from Mann’s third studio album ‘Best Days’ back in 2012, was awarded the honor after hitting the 500,000 copies sold mark.

An impressive feat for any song in the current climate, especially one of the Gospel persuasion, the certification sees the track become the most successful of Mann’s career!
