    I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

    The person I am, especially when it comes to my reading/reviewing of books, has taken some time. I’m a multi-genre romance now, and as I began this, my second career, I started to read/review romance books to get ideas as to how to express myself in my writing. I then started to read other genres and have become a TOP CONTRIBUTOR for True Crime books on Amazon. Slowly and surely, I began reading/reviewing Christian nonfiction books, and now this genre is my mainstay of the books I review [45% of the 260+ books I’ve done this year have been these books].

    The transformation, as you can see, that I’ve experienced, comes from reading the Lord’s words in His writings and the increased adoration that has become of my being. And if you desire to have a strengthened relationship with the Lord, then you need to open your heart and mind to the staunchness He possesses. To achieve this goal is a journey, a challenging path in which you’ll learn the promises He’s made/kept to His believers.

    The author of this book, Anita Estes, takes her readers on a devotional trip of 40 days/nights designed to achieve a transformation in their lives. For each of these devotions, readers get:
    A Lord’s promise
    Appropriate scripture
    An illustrative event in the author’s life
    A prayer
    An application of the Lord’s promise for that day
    A nighttime reflection before going to bed of scripture
    And a conclusion that attempts to bring everything together.

    Reading these nonfiction Christian books has caused me with guidance from above to write my first two Christian books, which should be published sometime in January 2020, two that I never thought I could ever write.

    Given the above, as a reviewer of Christian books, I see no reason not to give Ms. Estes the 5 STARS she deserves.

    Reading Anita Estes book When God Speaks; 40 Days and 40 Nights, I realized the depth to this book. I don't feel it is a book to just sit down and read. There are too many lessons in this book to miss.

    To fully grasp the messages, I think a reader should take it one step at a time with 40 days to complete the reading. By that I mean, take one day and night message; read it and concentrate on the writing. Live it for that day.

    Go on to the second day and night message and repeat the above action. If a reader has the patience to do just that, I believe you will find your way back to your faith and to God. You will learn how important the Holy Spirit is in our lives.

    If you read When God Speaks seriously from the heart, it can become a great way to get our souls back on the track to the Gates of Heaven and God's promises.
