Mike Palmer of French Hill Apiaries, St. Albans, Vermont came to the PWRBA on April 10, 2011 to talk about a sustainable plan for the apiary. He provided an excellent discussion of overwintered nucs. Mike Palmer is an excellent non-migratory beekeeper who manages about 700 hives in Northern Vermont. He has mentored several beekeepers in Northern Virginia for a few years.
