A new Directory of the Palanpuri Jain Vyaj Mehta Family was released on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at a special function held at the Grant Medical College Gymkhana, Mumbai. The new edition was launched by Smt. Ushaben Piyushbhai Mehta.

The function commenced with Sachchiya Mataji's Stuti sung by Smt. Heenaben Mehta.

The gathering also paid homage to Late Virendrabhai Shantilalbhai Mehta who had initiated the work on this project, and was also the pioneer of other important projects including the Sachchiya Mataji Mandir in Palanpur.

After the book release, senior members of the Family spoke about the significance of this project as well as the history and traditions of the Family. Among those who addressed the gathering were Ashwinbhai Mafatbhai Mehta, Smt. Ushaben Piyushbhai Mehta, Ajaybhai Himmatlal Mehta and other dignitaries.

The programme was a grand success and was attended by a large number of members from the Vyaj Mehta Family.
