    Finally! He's finished! And not just this guy. This is my last ever animated Decepticon! I finally have the complete show cast (plus several more.) You can see more of Scrapper and Dirt Boss by clicking their names.

    He's mostly scratch built, with only the legs (TFA voyager optimus), upper arms (TFA dlx cybertronian optimus), scoop (sentinel prime) and wheels (voyager OP again) surviving intact from another robot.

    The altmode's not quite right, but honestly it's more right than I set out to make it. I was prepared to totally throw alt mode fealty out the window but it turned out his bot mode is so unique I had to basically scratch build the entire torso.

    He has removable fists and a glob of concrete projectile accessory which, having photographed I will now toss in The Drawer and forget about entirely.

    It's finally done! And it looks excellent! I can't remember, how long was this in progress? It's seriously been that long. But I can't argue with the results!:thumb

    I've been toying with the IDEA ever since scrapper, who was finished about 4 years ago. I don't think I actually put plastic to it until about 2 years ago, then there were lengthy stretches where I didn't work on him.

    I was fighting against the reality that I was going to have to scratch build the entire body, and also I don't think I had the skill to pull that off until recently.

    Lol! I choose FAIL! No plans for devy or any further constructicons. Or decepticons at all for that matter. I have all the ones from the show and botcon comic. Pretty good stopping point I'd say :D

    I'm astonished a 3P hasn't made these yet, cause if they looked anything like yours, I'd be all over them! :D  That scratch-built torso is impressive! :thumb  Wasn't Mixmaster a little fatter, though? Other than that, it looks spot on, and impressive! Nice.

    We can never be sure. They might do Animated again. Then you would have to do even more if you want a complete bunch. But it is a possibility. And nice work by the way. Only if Hasbro did the animated Constructicons.

    Yes he was, but what works in ink doesn't always work in plastic. The initital version was a bit fatter but it just made his torso look like a cube, and with the circle thing on his tummy he just looked like a washing machine. I also originally had shorter, thicker legs, and it just wasn't working at all. There's probably an ideal middle ground since the OP legs are a little too thin and athletic, but I had to work with what was available.


    Woulda saved me a lot of time :D
