LittleBigPlanet has been out for several months, and it has created quite a buzz through its vast downloadable content via the PlayStation Network. We have not seen a demo of the quirky platformer, yet. But according to Alex Evans, co-founder of Media Molecule, we may finally see a demo hit the PSN, PS3center is reporting.
While we cannot confirm this report, Evans’ comment is quite interesting. He said, “…we labored a long time recently over the free demo we’ll be releasing shortly, and one of the reasons we didn’t release it beforehand was the question of how do you capture its essence, as you say?”
In the interview, Evans said LBP is fast approaching nearly two million user created levels. There are probably only a handful of PS3 owners who have not tried LBP, but a demo certainly feels long overdue. Perhaps a demo will stir interest for LBP on the PSP.
