Life or Death Listening from the Hostage Negotiator: How to negotiate and influence for success.          

When: Thursday 25 September 9.30am - 12.30am

Where: The Postdoc Centre @ 16 Mill Lane

As a postdoc, you will need to influence, persuade and negotiate with a wide range of people.  These include colleagues, reviewers, admin staff and even your PI!  Richard Mullendar, a former hostage negotiator, will teach you a skill very few people have and how to use it ethically.
