Talk about “high” marks!

Even after admitting to smoking crack cocaine, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has a higher job approval rating than President Obama, thanks to the commander in chief’s disastrous Obamacare website rollout.

A new poll Friday shows Ford still has a secure 42% approval rating among Toronto voters even after his drug scandal — topping Obama’s approval rating of 41%.

Ford’s numbers post-scandal are actually higher than the 39% approval rating he posted in late October, before he admitted to smoking crack cocaine, according to a Forum Research survey of 1,049 Toronto voters released this week.

A Forum Research poll from two weeks ago, on Nov. 6, showed he had a slightly higher approval rating at 44%.

Though a large portion of Torontonians still seem to approve of Ford’s job performance – an overwhelming portion, 60%, say Ford should resign.

Sixty-nine percent said they believe the mayor has a substance-abuse problem, which he has denied. He insists he does not need to seek substance or alcohol treatment but only needs help as he tries to lose weight.

Ford has admitted to using drugs while he was in a “drunken stupor.”

He told the Toronto City Council that had purchased illegal drugs and even addressed sexual harassment claims in a series of embarrassing and expletive-laden press conferences.

Obama’s numbers are in decline as his administration tries to explain the tech-glitches plaguing the Obamacare website.

Of Americans polled, 41% say they approve of the President’s handling of the country’s affairs, while 52% say they disapprove of his job performance, according to the latest Gallup poll numbers for the week of Nov. 11 to 17, reflecting the views of 3,576 adults.

Meanwhile, CBC News reported Ford’s driving raised eyebrows following an Aug. 29 barbeque that was attended by the prime minister. A citywide police alert was issued for Ford’s SUV following several calls to a dispatcher in which people questioned how fit he was to be behind the wheel.

Toronto cops eventually made contact with Ford, but he was not charged with any wrongdoing.
