The White House has discovered a computer glitch in the communications department responsible for preparing TelePrompter scripts for the President.

The error affected both his TV speech on September 11th and yesterday's address to the UN.

A paragraph personally written by Bush for his televised address to the American people on the 5th anniversary of 9/11 was accidentally deleted from the text and consequently not delivered that night

The mistake was only uncovered yesterday when the President gave his address to the General Assembly of the United Nations - and the missing paragraph inexplicably re-surfaced in his UN speech.

Here is the exact text of the paragraph that Bush wrote to deliver to the American people on 9/11 - and that he read yesterday at the UN:

"You deserve an opportunity to determine your own future, an economy that rewards your intelligence and your talents, and a society that allows you to fulfill your tremendous potential. The greatest obstacle to this future is that your rulers have chosen to deny you liberty and to use your nation's resources to fund terrorism and fuel extremism and pursue nuclear weapons."
