    Let's be honest here. Adult novels are considered to be fluff--the stuff of lesser writers who haven't got the talent to be thriller writers? Right? Right? Wrong.
    There is nothing "lesser" about Emma Lauren; and "When It's Love" is nothing more than pure, prime rib steak. You want a satisfying book to read? You found one.
    What really makes "When It's Love" special is not that it's hotter, spicier or more sexual than other novels in this genre--it's true that this book is all of those things--but the writing style really grabbed me from the off. I found myself drawn into a world that normally only applies when pro-writers like Stephen King put pen to paper. It's the story of Sydney Morrison and her desperation to break away from who she really is. Twists, turns, and sexual encounters ensue, all leading to a conclusion that you will not easily recover from.
    Praise for Emma Lauren is more in order than ever as she has put together a book worthy of your attention. A book that, although won't be a classic, will be a bestseller; and that has already been proven. "When It's Love" broke into the top echelons of Amazon on its first day of release, and is currently, at this time of writing, climbing again. I think for all readers who want to read something with some fire in its belly--this is the book for you.

    I actually took a chance on this book. It kept popping up everywhere and after I read the blurb I was like yes I have to read this. And I was not disappointed at all.

    Sydney is a super sweet girl but she is also very shy. She hides behind these baggy clothes to hide her actual self. Sydney did not have the best upbringing so she isn’t use to get love and attention. Henry is Sydney’s best friend and I adored him so much. He never treated Sydney any differently because of the way she dressed. He saw her for the beautiful person she was.

    Sydney has had a crush on her professor for the last several weeks and decides she is going to make a play for him. But when she goes to open her email there is already one waiting from Professor Sparling. This begins the online relationship between these two. Also during this time, Henry finally expressed his feelings for Sydney which now leaves her completely torn between two men in her life. But not everything is always as it appears.

    There are some shocking moments in this book. But then again I loved every minute of it. When some things finally came out I was fist pumping saying YES YES YES!!! Of course once again Sydney is stuck in the middle. She has already been through so much I still felt kind of bad for her but also I was happy too. I don’t want to give anything away so makes sure not to miss out on this awesome book. It’s sweet, loving, and of course HOT! I cannot wait to start book 2!

    Sidney is a college student who secretly fantasizes with her teacher. She herself hold so many secrets that even her best friend Henry does not know. Surprisingly her teacher contacts her via email (and with encouragement from her friend Henry,) Sidney engages in a sexual relationship with her professor through email.

    So here is the pickle, I saw this book in Facebook. One of my liked pages posted it as a must read if you liked Fifty Shades of Grey. Yes, curiosity got me and I download the book to my kindle. I did liked the book, its a great page turner and can definitely connect with Sidney. I can understand how she sees things unfortunately the plot is very predictable. I had figured out the plot within the first few pages of the book. Still I was committed to read it and I liked it but I cannot understand why it was not listed as the first book of however many books this series will be. That irritated me because if I had known that it was one of however many, I would have not been shocked and upset about the ending which ends in a horrible sad cliffhanger. I ended up feeling sorry for Henry and disliking Sydney because she could have secrets from him and yet when she discovered his secret she was quick to condemn.

    You can see I am conflicted, I liked it but I disliked it as well and since I went into it thinking it was just one book I don't think I will be reading the sequel. That's just me. The hot scenes are good and not overly done like Fifty Shades of Grey which I had to skip 70% of the trilogy because it was just too much. Likeable characters (until the end), and a story that still has plenty of potential to get better.
