Junk in the Trunk Sale

THE 2ND ANNUAL LAKELAND JUNK IN THE TRUNK SALE

You have got an opportunity to make money with the help of the Junk in the Trunk event put on by the American Business Women’s Association.  This event is happening on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 7 am – 1 pm.  All you need is stuff of any kind you want to sell, a vehicle to get to the Kmart parking lot off of South Florida Ave and a big purse in which to put all the money you make!

This is an event that we encourage all businesses and non-profits to become a part of.  The money for the parking spaces goes to support scholarship moneys given to young women striving to better themselves in the field of business.   The parking spaces cost $25 per person or non-profit and $40 for professional vendors. Multiple spaces are available, as well.  After the parking space fee, all the money you make is yours to keep.

If this is not something that you can participate in, send this on to your favorite non-profit, local business owner, direct sales friend, sports team, church group or your neighbors who may appreciate a way to clean out their house and make money at the same time!

We will have a Salvation Army truck parked in the lot, so anything not wanted at the end of the day can be left there.

Our hopes are that this becomes a major community event that can serve lots of our fellow Lakelanders.  We had great turnout at our first Junk in the Trunk event last spring and look forward to another success this fall.  We hope to see you there!
