About the Author

Ken began writing part-time in 2005 and succeeded to full-time writing in 2013. He published his first novel 'Blood Prize' featuring Tom Fox and the sinister Cel Rau half twins, Uta and Rez, in 2014. Ken is currently at work on two new books: The Leviathan and Balaam's Deceit, both featuring many of the original 'Blood Prize' characters. Ken was born in Australia and grew up in the Murray River town of Howlong, where he completed his early schooling. The diverse complexity of his environment proved to be a young man's adventure paradise and is where he developed a lifelong love of the natural world. He spent much of these years exploring the wild streams and rivers of the area, from snow-capped mountains to semi-desert plains, providing a rich diet of experience for a hungry imagination. Ken's love of a good story may have originated from Harry Osborne, his beloved late Grandfather, who could exaggerate an uneventful walk beside the river into 'The Old Man and the Sea'. Ken lives and works with his wife Katie in the small country town of Freeburgh in North East Victoria.

An Adventurous Read

Blood Prize was a gripping read.I found it hard to put down as did my husband.
This was his kind of book, Fast moving and lots of action.
I liked the Aussie content and I really got into the characters especially Tom Fox.
Ken Grace with his first book shows a natural story writing ability.
I look forward to reading more of his work.

Ken Grace’s ‘Blood Prize’ takes the reader on a fast-paced chase around the World as they accompany the protagonists in their task to recover a mysterious prize coveted by many. There are thrills galore, from the rooftops of London to the deserts of Australia, as the small band of protagonists defies insurmountable odds in their deadly quest.

The writing is compelling, the action will leave you breathless, and you will root for the two main protagonists throughout. There are also plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader on their toes. The climax leaves some matters open, perhaps for a sequel, yet will have you thinking about possible outcomes long after you finish the tale.

A wonderful blend of action-filled techno-thriller with a touch of sci-fi which will appeal to many. A recommended read that will keep you turning pages well into the night.

Both my partner Suzie and I enjoyed this book immensely. Gripping, suspenseful and thrilling. My partner Suzie said she could not put it down, any spare moment must be used to finish the book. I not being a big reader and easily distracted while reading...not Blood prize. Loved the detailed accurate Australian geographical locations within the amazing story line. In a good way sometimes I had reading whiplash...Thanks Ken for a sensational story, we have lent our signed copy (Thanks Katie) to our very dear friend in Tassie.
