The 2017 Larry D. Keith Health Professions Recruitment Fair will be sponsored by Duke University School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. The local hosts will also include the NC AHEC Programs and Carolina Higher Education Opportunity Programs (CHEOP). Students and advisers will be invited from various institutions. Based on past seminars, the audience will represent 15-20 states and 40-50 health professional colleges and universities.

The purpose of the recruitment fair is to enable a group of summer program participants to expand their horizons on the professional school opportunities available to them, to enrich their understanding of the pre-professional planning process, and to meet personally with important professional school representatives. Approximately 300 minority and/or disadvantaged students -- mostly college juniors, seniors, and post-graduates -- will attend. These students attending the fair will come from the following summer programs:

• UNC Schools of Medicine and Denistry's Medical Education Development (MED) Program
• UNC Chapel Hill Science Enrichment Program (SEP)
• Duke University's Summer Biomedical Sciences Institute (formerly SMDEP)
• Other students from surrounding NC schools and summer programs

Registration

Bronze Registration: $275 and includes:

• Full table with two seats for the recruitment fair
• All meals for up to two representatives on Friday.
• Quarter page and space in the booklet : "3.25" (width) X 4.5" (height)

Silver Registration: $375 and includes: Bronze Registration + 1/2 (Horizontal) Advertisement: 6.50" (width) X 4.5" (height)

Gold Registration: $475 and includes: Bronze Registration + 1 Full page Advertisement: 6.50" (width) X 9.0" (height)

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott (courtyardchapelhill.com). The hotel is walking distance to the the William amd Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education as well as several local dining options.
