War crimes suspects from Rwanda and the Balkans living in Britain could be tried in the UK, under new plans outlined by Justice Secretary Jack Straw.
Newsnight's Emily Maitlis spoke to Dr Vincent Bajinya who is accused of involvement in the 1994 Rwanda genocide in which 800,000 people were killed in 100 days.
She began by asking Dr Bajinya - who changed his name to Vincent Brown when he became a British citizen - how he felt about standing trial in Britain.
