- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 November 2013Was really looking forward to this book, had it wrote on my calender so I didn't miss release date...it was published early that alone is awesome.
OMG it was a he'll of a trip. Loved every single character which is shocking I always find someone to dislike! Ok so maybe I disliked Grandma ever so slightly but who can blame me really??
Paisley and Channing are perfect together loved the banter between them.
Loved Brody and Kellen and how accepting they we're of Paisley. Really want more of Kellen's story he should so be with Rachel.
Royal surprised me, very likeable and am looking forward to his and Wesley's story. I'm hoping Kellen's is thrown in there too.
What an ending who is the two in discussion...Wes & Royal...Lola & Brody...Rach & Kellen or Annabelle & Pierce??????? I know who I'm rooting for and yes I'm a sap and hoping for HEA for each and everyone of them.
Amanda Heath yet again you've wrote an amazing book.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 December 2013I loved this book I was drawn in from the start and loved how things panned out I would have liked the epilogue to be a bit better but I guess we will here about these main characters in future books about there friends I just wish I didn't have to wait so long.. there are a few words missing or used in the wrong term and bad grammar ext but nothing to major you just have to 're read the sentence to understand but there's not many.. I really did love this book and most of the characters came to life through the story.. loved it..
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2013This could have been brilliant but for me it just wasn't developed enough in the middle. There was so much hinted at but then nothing else was written about it so I wondered why it was mentioned in the first place. I think if the author had just written more it would have been really good. There needed to be more character development too.
Paisley initially lives in a trailer with a drug addled mother and toddler sister. Life doesn't look good but she knows education might be the way out. Then her mother overdoses and Paisley finds she has a new and ultra rich family. She's taken with Bee bee, her sister, by her grandmother to live with her and her grandfather. Then she meets Channing who is also ultra rich but damaged.
I did though enjoy reading it and look forward to more by Amanda Heath.
For older teenagers.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 November 2013This book was brilliant, I read the sample, bought the book and then read it all in one hit.
This book had me laughing from the words douche canoe. Paisley and channing are good for eachother in the book, so it was amazing to read their story progress.
The secondary characters in this book are great aswell. Beebee is soo sweet, rachel could quite easily be a younger sister, royal is your protective brother.
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be buying the next one when that comes out.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2015I sin the reviews for this were bad on amazon so.I didn't no weather to read or not.my friend sed she loved it and I'm glad I read it so did I such a sad story what she went thru :-( and channing but love that they got together after everythink the vile grandma did and sed :-(
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 December 2013This is a really enjoyable book. Whatsba great storyline and awesome characters. For me,I felt in some parts is wasn't developed, as if it didn't go in to depth. There are quite a few typo errors to. Lots of drama, angst and emotion. The author has a good story line going in with this, but for me, the downfall was the ending, I felt as if the ending was unclear and unfinished for Paisley and Channing, yes, they get their happy ending, but an epilogue on what happen with them next would have been nice to put closure to them, instead you have an odd ending then an epilogue which is the lead up tot the next book; biased on their 2 friends. I feel, like you could have taken this story line s much further even I'm to another book, rather than rush it, and then write a follow,on book biased on 2 friends.

3.0 out of 5 stars Could have been better
The plot and storyline was good. Ending was abrupt. Scene and emotions could have been more developed. The main lead was talking to her own self a lot. Rather it should have shown more communication to actually justify the emotions

5.0 out of 5 stars This book totally consumed me!!
Paisley grew up with her drug addict mother and two year old sister, Beebee, in a trailer park on the wrong side of town. She was forced to grow up extremely early if she wanted to survive, and once her mother had Beebee Paisley had to learn how to become a mother as well. Walking in and finding her mother dead from an overdose sent Paisley and Beebee to the right side of a town filled with mansions, new cars, and expensive clothes. Paisley enters into a world she had no idea existed and because of threats she is forced to stay in that world. Channing Southerland is privileged, entitled, and has power people only wish they could have. But Channing also has secrets no one knows about, secrets that have shaped him into the angry, stoic, and passionless person he is today. Channing and Paisley enter a whirl wind relationship that will leave your mouth hanging open in shock!
I freaking loved this book!! It has been a long time since I have read a book that I truly wanted to consume, but this book totally consumed me. I couldn’t put it down. Paisley is an amazing young heroine. She is strong, tough, proud and amazingly sweet when she wants to be. Channing is in a class all his own!! He is brooding and moody and I loved every freaking minute of it. Yet, he can also be charming, sweet, and totally swoon worthy. This story’s plot just keeps intertwining together and gets better as the pages turn. I read this book with a smile on my face and a happy heart. The story was well written and the author felt like she was connected to the characters. Simply amazing!!

3.0 out of 5 stars a good, easy-going read
The story isn't exactly new or overly exting: two broken teenagers, one grew up in a trailer park,
the other in a mansion, fall for each other with all the unexplainable strong sexual attraktion and so on.
BUT the author does a great job, giving those two a good background story and making them interact
and "reasonably" fall in love, instead of this whole "in-one-moment-they-hate-in-the-other-they-love-eachother-thing"
that is so often used in YA literature nowadays.
Moreover, I liked following the thoughts of the protagonist, Paisley; because she was kind of easy to identify with.
Still, I felt like the characters, espacially, the secondary characters weren't quite fully developed and laked
personality; they were more likely to function as decor than anything else.
Another point that has cost this book a star is that it needs a spelling and grammar check.
There were way too many, very obvious mistakes, that I stumbled over, although my English isn't perfect either ;).
Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading the book and look forward to the next book of this author.
I would recommend it to anyone who searches for an easy read that makes you escape reality for a while
and does not challenge your intellect too much, but is still entertaining.
