Dear Friend,

While most Houston City Council Members represent people residing in a particular 'District' or section of Houston, I'm running for an 'At-Large' seat on the Council which means that, if elected, ALL Houston residents will be my constituents.

So, what does this mean for our campaign? We have to reach a lot of voters before Election Day - which is only eight weeks away!

We can not do this alone. We need your help.

The quickest way for us to reach as many voters as possible is to raise awareness about the Calvert Campaign online. That's where you come in. If you enlist today as a Virtual Volunteer, we can begin to leverage the Internet in an even more powerful way - when you spread the word to your online network, it has a multiplier effect for our campaign.

  1. Forward this email message to five of your friends and tell them why you're supporting the Calvert Campaign »
  2. 'Like' the Calvert Campaign page on Facebook »
  3. 'Follow' me on Twitter »
  4. Sign Up online to Volunteer offline »

When our campaign has breaking news to report, we'll post it online right away. As a member of our Virtual Volunteer team, you'll be asked in the upcoming weeks to continue to pass along my email messages to your contacts, share some of our entries on Facebook, and retweet some of our posts on Twitter.

Please take just a few minutes of your time to log on to your computer (or mobile phone!) and take action online.

Thanks in advance for becoming a Virtual Volunteer!

Sincerely,

Rogene
