Attorney Andrew Rader of Cutler Rader, P.L. Settles a Case for Five Times the Policy Limits

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Trial Attorney, Andrew Rader, of Cutler Rader, P.L.  was referred a case from another law firm to litigate back in 2010.  The case was an automobile accident where a driver ran a red light and hit the front of the client’s vehicle.   There was just under $14,000.00 in property damage.  The client suffered neck, shoulder and back injuries and sustained a herniated disk.  She treated very conservatively with an orthopedist and physical therapy and did not have surgery.  Her outstanding medical bills were less than $200.00.

The at-fault party had a $10,000.00 Bodily Injury policy limit. The insurance company’s initial offer to settle was only $1,150.00. After Attorney Rader filed suit, the offer was raised to $3,000.00. The case was mediated earlier this year, and the insurance company’s offer still remained at $3,000.00, and they refused to tender their policy. Attorney Rader aggressively litigated and pushed to go to trial. In late November 2013, one week before trial, the insurance company called Mr. Rader.  They offered $50,000.00 to settle the case so that they would not have to go to trial.  The client accepted the settlement and was able to secure five times the available coverage through Mr. Rader’s efforts!
