A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead inside a property. South Wales Police were called to a property on Bryn Terrace in Cefn Cribwr, near Bridgend, just after 9.15pm on Friday, April 18, after receiving reports concerning the welfare of two people.

An eyewitness spotted an air ambulance landing just under the bridge on the M4 J44. Traffic South Wales have confirmed that J44 Lon Las is closed in both directions as emergency services attend to an incident.

The A4050 Port Road has now fully reopened in both directions. The earlier accident that had caused disruption between Old Port Road (Cardiff) and Station Road East (Wenvoe) has been cleared. Traffic is now flowing normally.

Traffic has been confirmed to be easing on the A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound at J34 A494, following an incident involving a broken down vehicle.
