I bought this end of jan 2013 and it worked great for about a year,I have fibromyalgia so it made my life miles easier not having to lug a full sized hoover around for a quick clean up. I used it on hard floors( you get about 15 mins) and it had enough power to clean a rug as well, but would not recommend it for carpets. Anyhow over Christmas it did not seem to be as powerful as usual and a couple of weeks ago,just literally outside of the warranty it started to die, the brush rotates for less than a minute and very slowly at that, then it ceases to turn at all and there is next to no suction for the few short minutes after that.
Amazon replied very promptly to my query ,wish I could say the same about Hoover.I emailed them outlining the problem well over a week ago and have received no reply, I have waited fifteen minutes in a queue on a premium rate number,no response. I have just emailed them again threatening to go in person to their offices with my complaint, so we will see what happens.
