AI won't drive through a bar gate

Hey guys,

I could really need some help now. I have made quite a cool vehicle checkpoint, but my problem is that AI vehicles won't drive through it. After standing a while the vehicle just makes an U-turn and disappears to other direction. The help I could need is:

1) How do I force AI to drive like 10 meters forward?

OR

2) Is there any chance that the AI would not notice the gate and give a damn about it?

Are those objects you placed via the editor? If you place objects too close together AI will try to avoid it as an obstacle. You need to create some space in between.

AI is just bad driver. In my experience, they never ever drive trough any kind of editor placed gate be it bar gate, or normal fence gate. They also never drive on bridges on chernarus they rather drive around the bridge. they bypas any obstacle on road by ridicolously huge amount. Forexample, you put a bike on the side of the road, and passing AI car will bybas it by around 20 metres by going offroad or it wil stop there and do nothing because bike on the side of the road that you would not even notice, is blocking entire road from AIs point of wiev.

Yeah, the problem was that the objects were too close to the road. Thanks for helping!
