    First of all the cover is amazingly perfect. A bridge...A woman...Perfect!

    After reading so many books with a back and forth perspective it was nice reading one persons thoughts...Brooklyn's.

    Brooklyn thought she had it all figured out. She was dating the man she knew she was going to marry and raise a family with, Damon. That was until she found out that he cheated on her. Yep, Damon is a dud.

    After building a brick wall around her heart she decided to move from California to D.C. with her best friend, Alex. Brooklyn landed a job at a marketing firm where her boss is a serious jerk. He constantly talks down to her and reminds of her that she can be replaced. How Brooklyn puts up with that on a daily bases is beyond me.

    I'm pretty sure I loved this story because of Logan. He is sweet, sexy, sensitive, and so so swoon-worthy. Pretty much perfect in my book. Logan doesn't come squeaky clean, he is holding on to guilt from something that happened when he was a kid. The guilt holds on to him to the point that he strives every day to make himself a better person.

    By accident she meets Logan Colton. He's is the CEO of a construction company which her company is trying to represent. Brooklyn's jerky boss told her that Logan is off limits.

    Brooklyn tries to hold out when it comes to Logan. Mainly because she doesn't want to open herself up to anyone but seriously, this is Logan we are talking about. Damn, I want to shower with that man! Ok, so that made me sound a little desperate but its LOGAN COLTON. LOGAN COLTON Ladies!!

    Brooklyn and Logan fit perfectly together. When Brooklyn faces Damon, guess who's there? It's Logan with his strong manly arms to hold her tight. When Brooklyn is awesome. When she has something to say, she does a great job at getting the point a crossed.

    Their seemingly perfect relationship takes a turn when Brooklyn hears something about Logan and in true Brooklyn fashion she runs. Brooklyn heads for the hills without a second look.

    This story ends in a cliffy. Not a cliffy that makes you want to pull out your hair but a cliffy that makes you want to know more. I have a feeling that Brooklyn is over reacting and I am pretty sure I will be super annoyed when - if she runs to Damon.

    Team Logan or Team Damon - TEAM LOGAN all the way!

    Not gonna lie, S.C. Ellington does an amazing job making me fall for Logan. I know there are other characters in the book but Logan is the one that sticks with me. What can I say, he woo'ed me! I am really looking forward to more of Brooklyn and Logan - not so much Brooklyn and Damon!

    I picked this book up the other night and didn't stop until it was finished. I loved the story and I loved the characters. Logan was sex on a stick! The chemistry between Brooke and Logan was great and their interactions with one another were even better. All in all, this was a very enjoyable read. I am already chomping at the bit for book two.

    This story read a little slow for me. The story-line was good.Two broken souls coming together to try and heal each other. Brooklyn is still coming to terms with how her ex cheated on her and her pregnant and alone. Logan is still suffering survivor's guilt , his ex stealing money from his charity foundation, cheating on him and using him for money. They are trying to remain a couple as past entanglements attempt to come between them.

Brooklyn has had her heart broken and hasn't really opened herself up for love for a few years. Enter Logan. Oh. My God. The man is sex on a stick and he's so sweet and considerate of Brooklyn. He's never been a relationship kind of man, but can Brooklyn change his mind? Flip the coin and Brooklyn is going through the same kind of thing; she wants to open up to him but she's scared. Her best friend gives her "the speech" and encourages her to open up her heart and just go with the flow of things.

    Everyone has secrets and there are plenty revealed in Unsettled. You really don't know what you think you know...or do you?

    First off, I have to write the review for both together, because you absolutely cannot have one without the other. I give them both 5 stars. I was so fortunate to stumble across this author and her books. In a time where I come across so many trite and careless "books" with characters who meet one day and fall in love the next, I loved the character development, the love story unfolding and getting to know Brooklyn and Logan as both individuals and lovers. They each came to their love with baggage and history that had to be dealt with before (and while) they grow to love and trust one another. The chemistry was evident, but the story was not about gratuitous sex. They made love and connected on a deeper lover. Although an IR romance, the focus was more about the individuals than their race. Loved it!

Brooklyn is getting over a recent cheating boyfriend and is also working a job for a boss who treats her disgracefully! Enter the super sexy CEO Logan. He does the chasing and gets Brooklyn to go on a date. However she doesn't make it easy for him and his wealth does not impress her. They have obstacles to overcome and whether their pasts will allow them to overcome these obstacles is for you to discover for yourself. Well done on an amazing book I hope the next one is even better.

    Out of all the characters in the book I found Logan the most interesting and likeable.

    I do feel in the cliffhanger ending that Brooklyn was unfair and unjust and a bit too quick in jumping to a negative opinion of Logan without giving him a chance to put his side across. This was the main problem with Brooklyn she does appear 'Unsettled' and emotionally all over the place and although this is because of her past hurt in her relationship with Damon which was understandable I really wanted her to get a grip! She would have been more likeable if she was a stronger character. Because of her personality i found her interactions a bit over the top and kept wondering what exactly Logan saw in her.

    As for the other characters - Alex, Damon and Jay, they didn't really register with me I found I didn't like them too much. Probably Damon as a character will develop in the second book. It's looking very likely the next two set of books will be Brooklyn vs Damon or Logan unless a third love interest is brought into the picture to complicate things.

    The best thing about the book was the plot or I could say storyline and the main character Logan and for that reason alone I will read the sequels!
