Join us on July 24, 2013, from  9:00-11:00 a.m. for a live presentation with Visiting Scholar in Practice, Stephany Zaic, Child Welfare Law Specialist. Stephany's presentation will focus on the sections of the newly revised juvenile code that address dependency and termination of parental rights.

A link to the videostreaming site will be posted on the home page of bartoncenter.net on July 23rd.  You do not have to subscribe to view the presentation.  The presentation will go live at 9:00am on July 24th. The link will be available at www.bartoncenter.net.

Juvenile court jurisdictions may participate by hosting on-site viewing of the live presentation and follow-up discussions. Please watch for announcements from your court or the Agency Alliance with the list of participating courts.   Please check our website at www.bartoncenter.net for updated information. As of July 22, the following jurisdictions are serving as host sites:

Online registration is strongly encouraged for those attending the live presentation at Emory Law School.  The nonrefundable registration fee, cash or check payable at the door, for all participants is $10 and includes materials, 3-hour parking in the hospital visitor parking deck, and light refreshments.

2.0 CLE credits for attorneys will be offered.  CLE fees will be accepted at the door for an additional $10 cash or check only payable to "Emory University."

For attorneys who view the presentation remotely, please use the GA Bar form #8 for Self-study and submit your fees directly to the Bar. If viewing the presentation at one of the juvenile court jurisdictions, please follow the instructions given there.

We regret that we cannot accept credit card payments online at this time. We are working to resolve this for future programs.
