This year’s HR Director Summit is promising to be a big event, bringing together the most senior gathering of HR directors in Europe, with over 700 delegates attending.

So what is drawing so many HR professionals to the summit?

For example, Jens Hofma, Pizza Hut’s People CEO UK, will be discussing how, after ten years of decline he has helped turn the business around through people development and culture.

Then there is Siemen’s HR Director, Toby Peyton-Jones, looking at how digital transformation will disrupt well-established business models and reshape the world of work.

Whilst Bruce Greenhalgh, Global Health & Wellbeing Clinical Lead at BT, will discuss how BT developed a culture of health to improve staff wellbeing and productivity.

As these are just three of the presentations being given over the two-day event, it is easy to see just how valuable the Summit will be in terms of personal learning and development.

In addition to networking, presentations and match meetings, the HR Director Summit 2017 will also be hosting the 7th annual HR Distinction Awards to celebrate HR strategies that have helped deliver outstanding business performance.

Categories covered include awards for Employee Engagement, People Development, HR Director of the Year and HR Team of the Year.

The winner of the HRInnovator 2017 competition will also be announced at the awards ceremony for the most creative and promising HR solution generated by a start-up organization.

All of the awards will be judged by leading authorities and HR experts drawn from a wide range of sectors.

In addition, there is also the HRD Content Zone on the Summit website, giving access to thought leadership from HR industry disruptors, innovators and experts through reports, interviews, keynote videos and key speaker presentations.
