Look in the properties and copy and paste after news:

news:dRBWa.4987$bo1....@news-server.bigpond.net.au

That's only OK if you can access that particular news server.

Perhaps Marsie could use Google if he doesn't want to use googl.

As in stick a URL in a post? It's as easy as cutting and pasting it into
your message or, you can type it.

See my sig for an example.

Alternatively, if you're doing HTML posts (Grrrrrrrrr.........) you can
embed the link in the HTML as you would for any webpage.

I spelled it that way on purpose to see which pedant would bite.

I'be buggered, that simple huh?

Where exactly did I ask for instructions on sticking a url in a post?

A URL is a link to a location on a server or servers on the internet or
network. In the context of a newspost, I see the link as being a reference
to group and post which will trigger the local newsreader to show the post.

I selected it specifically because there is no 'correct' way of spelling
google (there being no such word). As a matter of interest Google the
search engine is named after the "...Googleplex Star Thinker in the Seventh
Galaxy of Light..." in the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy.

When did I say pdancy is a bad thing.

OK then.

Try inserting "news:" (without the quotes) in front of the message-ID you
want to provide the link for. Remove any < or > delimiters. This should
invoke your news reader to open that particular message.

I bet you thought it was just coincidence that your parents had the same
surnames before they married. You wouldn't be such a jerk-in-the-box if your
Father didn't screw a plant and raised a blooming idiot.

Yep, just like my great-great grandaddy was!!

(From another post......................)

Here's the story behind why the 'slug' maintains that I'm his cousin.
mackay maintains that he had a relative (great-great
grandmother?)called
Elizabeth who married someone called Lucas.
My reply to him was............

"I've had a look back thru' my family tree. As ashamed as I am to
admit it,
he could be right. We could actually be cousins. My
great-great-grandfather
had a perchant for using the services of prostitutes after his wife
had
died. He was known to be a bit of a stud and got a few of the pro's
pregnant. According to the family, he was able to get most of the
pregnancies 'terminated' so as not to burden his legitimate offspring
with
troublesome bastards in the future. Which was a good thing because
during
his 'travels' he managed to pick up a case of syphyilis, which he
passed
onto his 'service providers'. Obviously, in light of mackays findings,
he
didn't succeed with a termination in the case of this part of the
'family
tree'. Apparently, one of the pro's named Elizabeth was so taken with
my
g/g/granddad that when he went off and left her for a younger,
prettier pro
(apparently, she was a bit of a dog who had managed to 'seduce' my
g/g/granddad when he was drowning his sorrows on the anniversary of
his
wifes death) she went and married some loser with the same name as my
g/g/grandad, so her baby would grow up with it's daddies name!! (Once
they
had the best, they had to settle for seconds....... too bad!!)

So if mackay has a syphylitic pro called Elizabeth as a
g/g/grandmother,
then yes, we may just be cousins!! (Maybe the hereditary syphyilis
would
account for the mental instability??) But either way, our family had
decided
to disown that side of the 'family' a looooooong time ago. No-one
wants to
have a bunch of syphylitic, drunken losers hanging around, do they??"

*Good* joke mackay!!

Now...... is it you that lives at 132 Blamey Cres, Campbell, ACT, 2612
??

Or will you lie about that one *again*? Just bear in mind I do have a
scan
of a document with your signature on it, and this is the address you
give at
the top.

You have been a liar and a fraud from Day1, mackay. All your pathetic
bullshit and blustering is only going to influence those with an IQ
the same

Oh, BTW, try not to be so pathetic as to crosspost to

Unfortunately Dassa, it was a comment made by a clueless moron. One of

I made a statement that was perfectly true. I have killed *better*
people
that that stupid slag danyelle. That makes me sad, upon reflection.

It comes down to the saying "I've learned that the people you care
most about
in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones
just
never go away."

It certainly runs true here.

That's the one ...realestate down there has gone through the roof in the
last twelve mths by about 150=200% in some places.

What about hydroponics?...

What areas are you looking?
Having been reseaching the island for the past year and with partner from

(poverty, no-sun, crime)

I got an 'Alert' the other day for a property in Devenport that was going for
$25,000. 3 b/r and quite a large yard. D'port is a nice place, but the 'life'
is down south in Hobart :-)

I looked all over the Island and decided on the Hobart area. Looked inland
for large acreage (Molesworth was a good one), but the water issue was a big
factor in deciding to go for a smaller acreage closer to Hobart.
My areas are between Glenorchy and Granton, and over the other side in Old
Beach and Bridgewater. I decided (when I was there) that I wanted water views
of the Derwent. Still looking at maybe another one down Kingston, Margate or
Snug. At a pinch, Sorell.

Can't wait to get back and wet a fly :-)

F*ck me dead, this is hilarious!
You see, I happen to know a somebody who works for the Australian Computer
Emergency Response Team (AusCert)
That person told me that investigation protocol is:
a/ National Security
b/ loss/Possible loss of life.
c/ Pedophilia
d/ Proliferation of illegal drugs
e/ White collar crimes

Just like other police departments, AusCert deals primary with crimes, and
do not normally get involved in civil cases.

The fact the someone manages to get an intervention order means that a civil
magistrate is convinced that there is a reasonable reason for intervention.

Also, one has to pay a few hundred dollars for a intervention order.

Once again, you show your complete and utter lack of any knowledge in this
area. Why do you constantly try so hard to make yourself look so foolish?

Once again, you show your complete and utter lack of any knowledge regarding
this subject.

Go have another drink, fool.

That sounds about right.

Nope. As others have pointed out, getting a court order in the ACT is
ridiculously easy. No ID required, no evidence besides what you swear to,
no cross-examination. It's a standing joke.

> Also, one has to pay a few hundred dollars for a intervention order.

Nope. Free and you can get all the help you want from the court.

The fact that it's a blatant waste of scarce court resources is beside the
point, apparently.

Tell you what, you go to an Internet cafe, get a dodgy email address, make
a few horrific threats against your real self, pretend it came from someone
you don't like and perhaps the courts and the cops will believe you if you
lay your hand on a bible.

You just figgered that out, did you? You're about as bright as a 1watt bulb!!
But answer the question. You claimed of "$2.99 cleanskin flagon". Please tell
us all were you buy them. I'm sure there are several people (on the Sunshine
Coast) that would like to get some.

[chortle, chortle] Please dont try and deflect the fact that you have been
stalking several people here, for quite some time.
