Muslims want ban on Hindu Mahasabha; does Kamlesh Tiwari really belong to it?

New Delhi: Kamlesh Tiwari is in the eye of the storm!

He is facing severe criticism from Muslim community angry over his remarks against the Prophet Muhammad. Also, the protesting Muslims are demanding a ban on Hindu Mahasabha.

However, according to a TOI report, Ashok Sharma, national vice-president, Hindu Mahasabha has claimed that Kamlesh Tiwari is not a member of Hindu Mahasabha.

"BJP and RSS are trying to tarnish the image of our party and they are using the name of our party to create tension," Ashok Sharma said.

Self-proclaimed Hindu Mahasabha member Kamlesh Tiwari, on December 3, in a press note issued by him, claimed that Prophet Mohammed was the first homosexual.

His statement reportedly came after Samajwadi Party minister Azam Khan had said that RSS leaders are homosexuals and this is why they don’t get married. Azam Khan’s remarks had come after Arun Jaitley had spoken up against Section 377 and said that the Supreme Court judgement on gay sex should be reconsidered.

Currently, Kamlesh Tiwari is under arrest.
