SONG: This song was originally (last week) called "Different Drum", but since a very pretty singer beat me to that title, I'm going with what the song is about (although it's never mentioned by name in the song). This is our 'Arab Spring'... the 'American Spring'. The protests aren't stopping; we aren't going away quietly. Parts of this have been floating around in my head for months; but the lyrics all came this last week. I scribbled them all down, threw away a dozen others, and started recording. The only thing different in my head is there should be Taiko drums, maybe marching drums, possibly kettle drums... more drums.
