Salary: £35,000-45,000pa dependant on experience

This is a unique opportunity to join a market leading business within the fresh produce industry where you will be managing a team and contributing to the success of the supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creating demand and usage from weekly forecasts given by commercial department for both raw materials and packaging
• Responsible for long term capacity planning of the production facility. Production planning across the site, inclusive of raw material scheduling.
• Daily allocations of transfer volumes and references to the off-site storage facilities to ensure accurate transfer delivery times to meet the production schedule by line requirement.
• Management of the planning function and development of the team
REQUIREMENTS
• Experienced planning manager who has experience within a challenging FMCG environment (ideally Fresh Produce/Food Manufacturing)
• Managed and mentored a planning team
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Personally driven to succeed with a can do passionate approach.
• Excellent leadership, problem solving and analysis skills.
