‘Overcoming Inequalities in Schools and Learning Communities: Innovative Education for a New Century’ (SALEACOM hereafter) is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) supported by the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020 (Gómez, 2015-2017). It is an international network of 6 research groups (Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Hungary, Spain and USA) and 1 non-academic institution (Drom Kotar Mestipen) aimed to exchange knowledge focused on reducing educational and social exclusion in schools and communities. To reach this objective numerous collaborative research activities aim to increase worldwide cooperation in the study of global successful actions that increase educational opportunity for all children and improve the situation of youth systematically underserved.
