DIRECT SERVICES CONNECTION PROGRAM
At our Coalition meeting on Sunday, February 16, we heard from local organizations, Faith Action International, Church World Service, and Siembra, New Arrivals Institute, and the Center for New North Carolinians about their ongoing work to support refugees and immigrants, their needs, and how faith communities can support their work. (We will hear from other organizations later.)
Our VIGIL was held on Feb. 11. The Sanctuary at CUCC was FULL for this powerful experience of solidarity, witness, and commitment.
