 Manufacturing Accountant
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: Bonus + Pension Escape Recruitments client, a market leading manufacturing organisation are currently on the market for an experienced commercial accountant to join their team in the position of Site Accountant. Reporting to the Group Finance Director (off site) you will be responsible for the financial control of the site and providing detailed financial analysis.
Key duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Site management accounting and group reporting
- Detailed financial analysis and presentation at operational meetings, including product profitability and variance analysis
- Cashflow management
- Project finance management - liaising with non finance project team
- Development of internal controls and procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience commercial finance professional (Qualified or Qualified By Experience)
- Experience gained within a product driven industry sector essential. Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred however others will be considered equally if you can demonstrate relevant experience.
- Strong management and/or cost accounting skills are essential
- Commercial acumen with ability to add value to decision making via detailed financial analysis and interpretation
- Strong influencing skills with ability to establish rapport with local operational staff
